Privacy Policy

My Wallet is a personal finance tracking app. Your privacy is our priority. This Privacy Policy describes what data the My Wallet application (the "App") collects, how it is used, and what rights you have as a user.

Key principle: All financial data (accounts, transactions, categories, settings) is stored locally on your device in a local SQLite database. We do not upload your financial data to our servers.

1. Information We Collect

1.1. Information You Provide (stored locally)

When you use My Wallet, you voluntarily enter information that is saved only on your device:

  • Accounts: account names, balances, currencies, and icons.
  • Transaction History: expenses, income, transfers between accounts, amounts, dates, notes, and spending categories.
  • Categories: custom spending categories and subcategories.
  • App Settings: language, theme, number format, notification schedule, and biometric lock preference.
  • Database Backups: local backup files created via Settings.

All of the above is stored in a local SQLite database and in local app settings. We do not have access to this data.

1.2. Automatically Collected Information

To improve app stability and performance, the app sends limited technical analytics data to our server (app.dev-lab.app) when the app launches and during sessions:

  • Installation telemetry (one-time): a technical report sent on the first launch, including device identifiers, hardware characteristics, operating system details, locale and timezone settings, and app version.
  • Session data: a randomly generated session token (not linked to your identity), a device identifier, and session start/end timestamps.

This analytics data does not include your name, email address, financial data, location, or any other personally identifiable information.

1.3. Advertising Data

My Wallet displays ads via Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). The following applies:

  • The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
  • Google may collect data about your device and app usage in accordance with its own privacy policy: Google's Privacy Policy.
  • The developer does not share any of your financial data with AdMob.

  • Local storage: All sensitive data (accounts, transactions, categories, settings) is stored locally in your device's sandboxed app storage using SQLite.
  • No cloud sync: By default, data is not synchronized to any cloud service or external server.
  • Data export: You can export your data as a local database backup file at any time through the app's Settings.
  • Deletion: You can delete all data within the app settings (Settings → Delete Data) or by uninstalling the app, which removes all local databases and files.
